23-8-2009 - yay I have reached the halfway mark

My mood while writing this blog: so happy

I reached 20wks yesterday YAY!!!

I had my scan last week as my previous one was too early to get the right measurements for anatomy scan.

baby is healthy and i got some great pics.

here are some of the good pics from my scan. the guy gave me crappy pics so i had to do these myself with the dvd.

for once I didnt go shopping afterwards. with all the wedding stuff taking priority over baby stuff atm, I cant really go out and buy everything I want for baby til after the wedding which is only 6wks away.

got my dress last week I LOVE IT!!! its easily adjustable to make room for our growing boy. I just wish my boobs would grow so the bust wasnt too big lol but again thats easily fixed.

weighed myself the other day expecting to see a bigger 1st digit only to get a big shock to find iv lost 10kgs!!! apparently it wasnt too much of a surprise to my friends as i did look smaller every where besides the bump lol. dont worry the baby has a lot more fat to steal from me lol.

anyway here is my bump yesterday

I have a nursery theme I have chosen to go with for our wee mans room its sort of on the unisex side but im sort of sick of cars and boats and all the insanely boy stereotype stuff lol so here is a pic of the set.

I have one blanket from it so far lol, the bits a a bit pricy so I will just buy it in bits over the next 20wks.

will be painting the room but 1st we need to be sure which room he will be in lol. we are going to move our bed to the smaller room because our present room will easily fit 2 sets of bunks with lots of room to spare. then we will put the older 2 in what is atm our room and ds3 will go in there once we have transitioned him to a big bed but he is a few months off that yet. baby will have his own room for about a yr and then he and mason will share his room. oh the joys of fitting 4 kids into a 3bdrm house lol.
