I cant believe it, my boy is 1 month old today. He has grown so much, it truely amazes me. I feel like I seriously have the perfect child. He only cries when he is hungry or needs his diaper changed and he sleeps for 4 hours straight at night. I think he is going thru a growth spurt right now. I got him back from grandmas and she fed him the 3oz of breastmilk I sent with him and then 10 mins later when we got home he took both boobs! I couldnt believe it!! I havent decided about going back to work yet. I know I havent even been cleared to return yet, but everyone keeps asking me and I'm just not sure I can leave him for that long. If anyone else has any tips or advice please let me know. Please also be brutaly honest about it and the transition as I want to know the truth, so that I am properly prepared.

Well I pretty much just wanted to brag about my lil guy and how perfect I think he is.

Ohhh another thing, my husband works full time plus some and he doesnt get up at night with the baby ever. That is ok with me, the only reason baby wakes up at night is to feed anyway and I have to do that. But during the day is baby starts to cry or fuss and wants his diaper changed my husband will literally just sit there and let him cry. It really pisses me off. He wont even help me with bath time for him and my son has a lot of hair so bath time is hard. Is anyone else having as much trouble with there lazy ass husbands? haha, anyway thanks for listin to me ramble on!

Hope everyone else is enjoying there baby as much as I am and that breastfeeding is going great for all who are doing it.

Hi! Just read your birth story and looked at the pictures. He looks like a big boy already. All that hair! He is so cute. I had 2 C-sections so I can relate to that. It takes awhile to feel back to normal. It's been 7 weeks for me and I feel really good now. Going back to work is so hard. When I went back after my son was born I cried for a couple of days but then I was OK and I have been glad to be able to provide more for him and also glad to have my own thing going on if that makes sense. I am going back in January again and I think it will be easier this time. If you decide not to go back, that's great too. Whatever works for you! My son is in commercial day care and it has been such a wonderful source of development for him. He loves going and seeing his friends every day and he learns so much. He's even speaking some Spanish now. So don't feel bad if that is your choice. Oh, and I have a lazy-ass husband too. He has not changed a single diaper. And I don't know how men can let the baby cry and just go on about their business. Drives me crazy. He's great with my son but so far has not taken the initiative with my daughter. I'll be lighting a fire under him soon. Take care!! Your son looks wonderful.
