28-7-2009 - Due date and weight 34 weeks

My mood while writing this blog:
sore and tired

Well havnt updated in a while.

My GD has shot through the roof, I am on 5 needles per day, injected into my tight large abdomen, ranging from 4 units -8 units. The babies are growing wonderfully. As of 34 weeks and 2 days, Grayson was 5 pounds even, and Kendall is 4 pounds 13 ounces.

I DO NOT sleep at night, I just cant, it is the most uncomfortable part of the day, I am nauseous when I lie down, and the pressure on my abdomen is too hard to bear-even if I do get a few hours sleeping sitting up in the lazyboy.

BUT there is light at the end of the tunnel, unless these babies decided to come early on thier own, their birthday will be August 13th @ 11:00...........16 more sleepless nights!!!!!!!

I just want them in my arms.....the worry from that first + poas hasnt let up, a bit, but it has always been there, and I will continue to worry until they are out.......then a whole new set of worries will set in!!!.........

Hope all is healthy and happy with all of you, I dont get the chance to come on here as often as I would like, but I do check all your pages to stay updated.

wow, the 13th, not long now. I know exactly what you mean about trying to sleep. I am having the same thing, feels like my 'cookie bones' are on fire from the pressure and like my abdomen is inflamed. Not fun at all. We made it this far, although your carrying 2 and am sure it is a little worse, we dont have long to go now. I am still hainging in there, was supposed to have mine the 23rd but feel the dr didnt quite do enough! Hang in there and I hope you manage to get some rest before the big day. Good luck and I hope everything goes smoothly =)

WOW...AUG 13TH!!! That is great, but so close by. Seems like yesterday you were announcing that BFP, and now, they are almost here. Can't wait to see them! Glad they are growing and hope they make it to then and not sooner, as that is easier...lol, but a great surprise either way. Take care and count down begins!! :)

Only 2 weeks?!!! I wouldn't be able to sleep either. I'm so sorry about the shots, but you only have a few more days. I'll be over before you know it!

Best of luck to you. They both seem very healthy weights. My husband was married before and he had twins with his first wife. They were born at 35 weeks by c section. One was 4 8, and the other was 2, 15. One had to stay in the hospital for a month. Luckily, they were both breathing on their own and didn't require a ventilator. How exciting for you! Have you lined up lots of help?

OOOOWEEEEE!!! Almost there!!!! Cant wait to see pics!!! I put all my ultrasound pics of my twins if you want to see. I took pictures of them instead of scanning them. Much clearer!!

Sounds wonderful, well except the GD & the not sleeping parts... those two little ones are growing so nice and big! I can't believe they're the size they are already. Only 16 more sleeps...
