01-12-2009 - 2 months sleeping through the night

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Hey y'all, its been a while so I thought I would take the time to update on my life with the twins int he past three months.

Life is just PERFECT. Kendall (my daughter) is the worlds most easiest baby I have ever met......I literally could have had triplets of her. She never cries nor complains, she gets alot of rashes-but thats about it. She is SUPER low maintenence. Grayson on the other hand makes up entirely for her-he is SUPER SUPER needy, he needs to be held , loved and codelled all the time or he is crying...

We had them in our room for the first month as we did Rylan just to make sure thier little lungs got all of thier liquid expressed (as they were c-section babies) and we put them in thier rooms at one month. We hired a night nurse at this time who comes in (still) from 10-7. She is an aclaimed sleep guru-and has had our babies sleeping through the night ever since....if anyone is interetsed I can share her tips! Ive learned through her that it is important that babies be in thier own room at this early age as this is when thier sleep habits start-so to get them into the same routine at this age is extremely important-believeme-my kids are living proof!!

My OB insisted I go on birth control for at least a year-he gave me a script I never filled- but I am being somewhat cautious. My husband and I have talked at length about expanding our family, and have decided that we will do one more round of IVF with our 4 remaining embryos in April-August.....let my body have sometime to heal.

I have miraculously lost all the baby weight and then some in a short 8 weeks-36 pounds to be exact-I cant believe how quick it came off this time-I did do nutri-system for amonth-so I think that helped.

Kendall is now 12 pounds at 3 1/2 months -she measures in the 10th persentile-just a tiney little bean. Grayson is 13 pounds and measuring in the 90th percentile-he is a big boy! We pierced Kendalls ears at 2months and she is oh so pretty, and both have a good head of dark hair, and are very very olive skinned-people always say "your kids are so.......dark?!" its funny our eldest is so pale.

I miss the site, but do check in on how everyone is doing here and there! Hoping you all have a fabulous Christmas-it was Christmas eve last year when I found out I was pregnant, so it will be a very special one for me this year,
