24-7-2009 - Venting!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: P***ed off :(

OMG I need to seriously scream at someone!! We are due to go away for a week on the 1st of august with my family and three cousins and now I dont think we can!!! Bobbys a carpenter and they have stopped building the housing estate his company were working on due to the recession blah blah so they all got laid off, so he went to apply for umemployment allowance hoping to find a job ( which he hasnt , crappy country) and that was 8 weeks ago, and he's application still hasnt come through!! It seriously couldnt be taking 8 weeks to process, so we've been living off my money. His money was to go towards the holidays and it doesnt look likes its going to come through in time so I think the holiday is off. My mam has offered to pay and loan us money but I really dont want to take it off her because they have their own problems with her working hours being cut !!! :(

And as for my future mother inlaw if she moved to America she'd still be too close to me. I am so fed up of her sly little remarks every time Im out there. Here's a choice few:

"Oh he should be on more than 5oz, he must be starving" Firstly Id know if my son was hungry and secondly he barely takes the 5oz every 3 hours , I think he knows when hes had enough better that her somehow

"He doesnt need that blanket on , its too warm" It was lashing rain and I was using it to keep him dry until I got him in the car!!

" Those nappies are way too small for him" They are size 3 nappies up to 20lbs , he was only 13lb 2 weeks ago, unless he has had a serious growth spurt.

" Im taking him some night next week, I mean it" Pretty much demanding I give her the child for the night

" You dont trust me and wont let me mind him" This was when he was only 2 weeks old and cranky and I wouldnt let her have him for the night!

Oh I could keep going but you would be reading all day. I probably sound like a bitch but I needed to get this off my chest lol xxxx
