| 25-8-2008 - 3 month checkup |  My mood while writing this blog:ok |
Mara had her 3 month check up today...she got one shot and one oral shot, she only wimpered, she was sooo good!!
she only gained 7oz and only grew 3/4 of an inch...he didn't seem concerned just we will see how she is next month... she ho;ds her head up too, which i totally thought she couldn't but he said watch...and showed me she is fine at doing it..i was nervous... side affects from the oral were puking and pooping and she just did both so i guess it was from that... altho she didn't poop yet today so maybe it wasn't...
so she weighs 10.13 and is 22 3/4 inches....
he didn't say what % that was but it doesn't matter to me as long as he says shes ok then i am happy..he said babies usually gain doub;e the weight of the birth weight by 4-5 or 4-6 months and she already has so thats great...
hope you are all well...i also want to lety you all know my friends that lost their house are ok, it will take some time to get over the loss but they have recieved SO many donations it is unreal!! they are planning to rebuild the home and the fire was ruled unknown.....thanku for all your kind words, thoughts& prayers.....

What "oral shot" make her vomit? The poor little dear...
Her weight is just wonderful. She is a little girl - a fine thing to be! You are right, as long as she is gaining and developing and she IS! Thank the Lord! :)

About that picture blog - I had something very similar to my eldest an eon ago. It has actually turned into a funny story throughout the years. You won't always feel so badly about it but I am sorry you were disappointed...
And I rejoice over the good support for your friends in their loss! The things they lost are more than recovered by the love they receive. I have lost things in life - not from fire but in other ways. It is hard but we do rebuild and grow. I will pray for them as they come to mind as they still have much work ahead of them.
