04-12-2008 - 6 month checkup

My mood while writing this blog: relief

hello all!

hope you are all doing well!!

Mara had her 6m shots today. 4 shots and 1 oral. 4 because the Dr. forgot to tell me about the flu shot so he then tells me to give it to her even tho they may not have the 2nd dose next month due to a shortage from the company, ok fine. THEN she had to have the oral added because they FORGOT to give it to her last month, anyway she has had cereal lioke 5 times since i'm back at work brian feed her it because she WILL NOT take a bottle for him! lol! ugh this baby!! little stinkker she is...oh ok, rambling, who me? lol! ya i know get back to the appt tammy, helloooooooooooooo...lol.....OK so she is weighing in at DRUM ROLLLLLL PLEASE....13.6lbs, yep that's it, and she is 25inches long. and by golly her head is average size, lol, we notice her head is a little heavy at times, lol, must be her nice size brain will lots of smarts in it! hope so! HELLO! i do not like my dr's!! then he tells me to start her on foods and goes into a whole meal feeding plan...ya ok like i'm gonna listen to him, NO, i am going to do it the way i feel she should have it, he told me to give her ANY cereal when clearly i have read over and over NOT to give them wheat and all that yet, idk!!

anywho, she was so good after her shots! i haven't had to give her any tylenol either, knock on wood. and she's taking a 2hour nap because she missed her regular naps today. she will start with some carrots this weekend and then go from there, i want to get the book SUPER BABY FOOD, highly recommended by a friend.... i want to make what food i can for her....

so tomorrow i also have off and if she is up and jolly we will hit the mall with coupons and do a little xmas shopping for her cousins.
