29-11-2008 - Cody Jay 10 days old

My mood while writing this blog: Proud and Happy!

As I dont get on the site that much anymore and dont get to leave as meany mesages to all my friends I thought I would write a quick blog to update you all on how we are getting on!

As you all know Cody arrived on the 19th November and my life has changed forever ! I cannot believe just how much I am loving being a new mummy again ! Cody is just the most perfect baby ! He sleeps so well waking just twice in the night for only 20 mins each time then straight back to sleep ! He is such a little darling and just like his brother was when he was a baby ! Infact I am actually getting more sleep now than the last 6 or so weeks of my pregnancy and i feel great !

Cody lost 2oz in weight in the first week and had now regained the 2 and put on another 2 and is weighing in at 7lb 12 . he is quite alert and happy in the mornings and actually sat in his bouncy chair for ages this morning in the bathroom with me as I enjoyed a nice long warm bath , he is just so contented its unbelievable ! I could not of asked for a better baby and I just hope it stays this way !

Well anyway girls I hope that those of you who have your babies are enjoying it as much as me and for those still waiting good luck you are coming in for a most amazing experience so enjoy it ! Dont think about the pain because once its over yo forget all about it and nothing changes that feeling of holding your baby for the first time !!
