28-1-2009 - Not So Well Today!

My mood while writing this blog: Like Mummy Nurse !!

Well I knew something was wrong when Cody was awake at 5am this morning ! He has been sleeping so well ,I had been having to wake him at 7am so I am hoping this was just a small blip!

Anyway he has been sniffly, sneezy , grumpy and sleepy! He has also had a slightly raised temperature so not my usual little Cody at all! The only place he has been happy or should i say comfortable for most of the day is curled up on my chest! My poor little munchkin must be feeling rough because it has been a good few weeks since he has fallen asleep on me or anywhere else without trying to fight it in fear or missing what is going on around him ha ha !I have not managed to do anything all day but I must admit I have quite enjoyed the clingyness as I loved the way he fell asleep like this when he was new born and I have enjoyed giving him the closeness all day which has obviously comforted him and made him feel a little better! It has made me think about how fast my little cherub is growing and how soon he will want to start being little Mr Independant! The time is going so so fast I just wish it would slow down !

So although I have not enjoyed him being ill I have enjoyed those lovely cuddles and the fact that all he wants is his mummy to make him feel better ,thats just what I am here for and I am going to cherish these early months forever!

We also had to cancel his vaccinations today because he is not well which was a shame because he is already 2 weeks late because of Christmas and New Year falling on the times the baby clinic is held at my Doctors so he will now be 11 weeks when he has them! I so wanted to get them over with today but It cant be helped!

Other than him being a little poorly he is in general doing well and becoming quite a little chunky monkey .I just love him So So So So much and his brother ofcourse! I feel like the luckiest person alive to have my 2 special boys!!!
