So today I had my first Gyn appt. When I say Gyn, it is because she is not an ob. She does not deliver babies or do prenatal. I went to her because I needed to confirm what I already knew thru 10 different pregnancy tests. I needed to confirm that I was having a baby. So my husband and I went there @ 3pm. We sat down and realize that the doctor was not there. The asst nurse told us she won't be there until 4:30pm. My husband had to be at work at 5pm. So we waited. She come in about 4:15...all happy, greeting everyone. She looked at me and shook her head. I only been here once and that was on May 9. That's when she did my pap and std testing. I told her then that I wanted to be pregnant since I just got hitched to my husband. She didn't give me any help. Told me to lose a couple of lbs and see her in two months. I, myself got clomid from my primary doctor who loves helping. So when she seen me, she looked as if I was wasting her time...imagine that!!!!

So my name was called and I went in. Waited 10 minutes for her to tell me about the results of my test. Everything was negative. I told her I did not come there for that. I came because I am pregnant. I said my husband and I are faithful and would not have any std's. She told me " Oh I was'nt aware that you was married to God!!!" What!?!?!? I could not hold my temper. I sat there and listen to her push her faith on me. Told me that I don't know my husband. By this time I just wanted to take the test and be done. Go home.

I took a test and it came back a faint positive, she told me that I was not pregnant and that she wanted to give me a blood test. I am sorry, She wanted me to drive to the next town over and draw my blood. Because she is a private doctor, she don't want to pay anyone in her office to do it. She said she think that, that test was a false positive. I asked her about the other test she said "oh those was wrong!!! You wasted your money"

I got so mad that I stormed out. These are the "professionals."

I got home and took another test, it was a strong positive. Thank God I have another appt schedule with a real Ob on Wed.
