14-8-2008 - Cinnamon Pie Crust Rolls OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok

Re: Pie Crusts
Crust has always been my favorite part of the pie. My mom has a funny story from when I was about two. She had made a pie with a fancy lattice crust for a party or something. My dad was supposed to be watching, but either he wasn't or he was watching and laughing...( knowing him it could be either one). Anyway, I proceeded to pick off and eat the entire lattice crust without really touching the rest of the pie. My mom came home and was horribly upset. My dad just laughed.

Anyway, I wanted to tell y'all that my grandmother made my favorite dessert ever. She would make a regular pie crust, roll it out real thin, brush melted butter over it, sprinkle it with cinnamon and sugar and roll it up to make crispy pie crust cinnamon rolls. You cook them in their snake form... don't cut them till you take them out of the oven. They are incredible!
