30-4-2009 - april 30th appointment

My mood while writing this blog: happy

today was another appointment and it went great. my quad test or maternal serum screening was fine and the babies heartbeat was 160bpm but my little boy kept moving it took my doctor a few good minutes to finally get it. i asked her about the swine flu and she advised me to keep cleaning my hands and using sanatizer gel and if theres ppl i know that are sick to try and avoid them or take precautions like wearing a mask if i want and if i have any symptoms to call the answering service or go straight to urgent care or the er straight to triage. i also told her about how i have been having some swelling in my fingers sometimes and she checked my records for the last appointments to see my blood pressure and checked my blood pressure again and said you're normal you're healthy as can be but i bet you're not drinking a full gallon of water and i confessed and she said to drink a gallon no matter what that it really actually helps the swelling to not be so bad because your body doesn't get the need to store so many liquids, so ladies please drink your gallon of water a day. oh and my doctor said the only thing we can really do to not get the swine flu or flu is just to keep cleaning our hands and using sanatizer gel and avoiding ppl who are sick or be precautious including wearing a mask if needed and she said not to worry so much so i don't stress out. i hope everyone is doing fine. goodnight.
