18-9-2009 - wk 39 appointment

My mood while writing this blog: alright

i had my wk 39 appointment yesterday and no change from last time which has me a little bummed and makes me think i'll go over my dd. the good thing is that the braxton hicks contractions have been stronger (doesn't feel like real contractions yet) but hopefully it means soon. his head is in position and causing me so much hip/back pain and pain down there so i wonder why he still doesn't want to come out. my doc was talking about inducing next wk since he seems to be 8lbs and a qaurter already or a little bigger and she doesn't want to wait to long after my dd to induce if needed. i really hope though that the stripping of the membranes helps me to get further along. i still have hope for him to come before or by his dd on his own without intervention.
