25-6-2009 - Everything is OK!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Happy & Relieved!!!

Well, I had a scare the other night... I had severe cramping pain in my belly which felt like labour. I saw my doctor the next day who was very concerned about the pain especially considering my last missed miscarriage, so she booked me in for an ultrasound the next day to make sure everything was ok.

I had the ultrasound yesterday afternoon and saw my beautiful little baby, measuring right on time (8 weeks 3 days), with a beautiful little heart beating away! I was so relieved I burst into tears. I was so worried I was going to get bad news again, but everything is just fine! The ultrasound tech must have felt for us, because he took three exta pictures of our bub and put them on a disc for us.

I am so grateful to be given another chance and another beautiful baby, I will not take anything for granted.
