Awww great to hear that things are going well - have you told family members and friends yet?! I just found out that a good friend of mine is pregnant (8 weeks - unplanned) I am so excited for her and yay because when Jayden is 1 her baby will be born so he will have someones to play with in the near future! HeHe - I have heard that heart beat thing as well - not sure if it's true though!

Im glad your scan went well. I dont think the heartrate has anything to do with the sex, with my 3rd i had to be on a monitor for a hour 3 times a week for about 6 weeks and his heartrate was always different it would go up more when he was active then down when he was asleep.

So glad to hear all went well! I have heard mixed reviews about the heartbeat being an indication of sex, so I'm not the right one to ask! HAPPY DAYS KELLY!!!!

Hello Friends,
I had my Nuchal Translucency scan today (11 1/2 weeks), and everything measured great so our baby is developing just perfectly!! He/She was moving around, waving and kicking, it was so cute. I'm just so happy that everything is going well this time. Now I can really start to relax a little!
By the way, it's heartbeat was 155bpm today, and at my 8 1/2 week scan it was 167bpm. Is it true that the heartrate is an indication of whether the baby is a boy or girl? Not that it matters, but I guess it's a bit of fun to wonder about these things!
