09-7-2009 - BP help!

Ok need lil bit of advise or something.
Been not right for weeks felt ill, sickness, not all there(like im high on tablets or alcohol), swollen fingers, bad chest like pain being punched. Bad migranes/headaches and this morning i woke up with a tingly numb face.

So because i had this numb feeling and BAD sickness this morning i took my BP it read 148/94
I rang my docs and a MW from the hospital told me i should be fine and my syptoms are pregnancy. Well ive not had sickness till 2 weeks ago im 33weeks preg and only had sickness till 15week preg and the other syptoms i never thought were anything like pregnancy symptoms.

So i checked my BP few hour later its now 128/90 is that ok and am i worrying over nothing?

ive not done anything today just lounge about so no reason for BP to flare up. Also i have very low BP so im worried it may be lil to high. my rate is normaly something like 100/70 maybe lower or along them lines.

Should i phone back and make them take me seriously? i have a MW appointment on monday shal i wait till then? i cant be doing with these head aches and sickness and feeling spaced out all the time makes me feel horrible.

I have a history of pregnancy induced hypertension. From what I understand they don't want my BP to go higher that 140/90...meaning that even if the bottom number is 80..they don't want the top number to be higher that 140..and even if the top number is 120, they don't want the bottom number goin over 90. High BP in pregnancy can become very dangerous, My higest BP read was 144/92..I have had two 24 hr urines done and have Non-Stress tests every week, they monitor the protein in my urine, to check my kidney function and to watch for preeclampsia. I am not a doctor, I am just letting you know what my doc has told me, but I know my doc would not be comfortable with that bottom number being /90. I would keep a close eye on it and call them everytime it's high. I think they need to atleast do some bloodwork to make sure you and baby are okay. I dont' mean to scare you but high BP in pregnancy can be very dangerous for mommy and baby! Good luck, if you have an questions please send me a message. Luv & hugs!
