09-4-2008 - Birthing classes TiredMy mood while writing this blog:
Tired

Matt and I started our birthing classes on Monday. I was really excited to get them started and it was nice interacting with other pregnant couples, all who seemed to be about our age, although I did feel like the youngest one there! The best part about class is the partner massage! Our teacher is very nice and I feel like she really knows what she is talking about. I especially enjoyed her views on natural child birth, since that is the route I will be trying to take. However, starting the child birth classes have really made me a little anxious/nervous to give birth since it is getting closer and closer. As of now I am 31 weeks 5 days (almost 32 weeks). I am soooo ready to have Ella and to meet her and to get the birth over with, but at the same time, I am freakin a little that it is coming so quickly. To know she will be here soon, but to feel like it's taking FOREVER is a little emotionally draining. Time seems to slow down when you are really excited for the big day to come. We picked up some breast feeding classes and also a C-section class, just in case that happens. I cringe at the idea of getting a C-section and not being able to deliver naturally, but at this point, whatever gets her here quickly and safely is alright by me. These last weeks of pregnancy have been the most difficult as well. The swelling has begun, along with the horrifying leg cramps, fatigue and obesity! I am sooooo ready to give birth!
