25-7-2009 - 25 week appointment

My mood while writing this blog: excited

Yesterday we got to hear little Henry's heartbeat again! It was 130-135. He is doing very well! I am measuring 27-28 cm, so the Dr said that was withing the norm but asked how big my first son James was. After I told her (8 lb 1 oz) she said it looked like Henry may be growing along the same way haha I had a feeling he was big because I have been feeling him very high up.

Some great news about my weight gain! Last month i had gained 9 lb in a whole month. It totally freaked me out and depressed me because I have been eating very heathfully this pregnancy. With James I ate pretty well, but wasn't as active and splurged on more junk foods and sodas and gained 53 lb total (some of that was swelling). So I took up walking again a few weeks ago and this month my weight gain was only 2-3 lb! SWEET! My total gain at 25 weeks is 19 lb, which I am very pleased with! So I'm going to keep walking and eating well (with some deserts still haha) and hopefully stay under 40 lb by the end.
