05-2-2009 - 35 wk low fluid

My mood while writing this blog:
worried

Well i just got back from my 35/36 week check up-im 50% and 0 cm...and baby weighs 5 lbs 3 oz! im still measuring 3 weeks small...but baby is in 45th percentile..doc said its perfect! but the bummer is my fluid only measured 8...which is really low for 35 weeks. he said keep feet up and drink ALOT and next fri were having another sono. he said if it stays at 8 he will keep an eye on me..but if it goes any lower-he is sending me to the hospital to be induced...

ill be 36 weeks and 5 days on that day..so i guess i shouldnt be worried cause he is a day away from being considered full term..but this week is gonna be scary since he doesnt have alot of fluid!

k i just switched it to wed! i cant be this scared not knowing....ill keep you informed..and i i dont write a blog wed afternoon it means im in the hospital-hopefully they have wifi!!!

yea-he said he will induce me cause its too risky for baby to stay in even though its a little early...he said baby is fine right now though..

Oh my goodness! You poor thing, that must be so scary! At least you are fast approaching 37 weeks. So might they induce you on Wed then, if the fluid is still low?! Hope you're getting plenty of rest..x

Poor thing! Try not to stress too much about it. It sounds like your doc is keeping an eye on things, so be sure to drink lots of fluids and keep your feet up. Everything should be okay if you follow the doctor's orders and he stays on top of things. Let us know how things go!

don't worry hon, I've been told I have low fluid with other pregnancies and then I just remember to drink more water and the next time they checked it was better. Everything will be fine!!! xxx

Carry a water bottle around with you everywhere. Just take it easy. Don't try to do to much. I'm sure everything will work out fine. Keep us posted!

My neighbor back home had low fluids. Just be glad you're informed. Don't worry and take advantage of havin someone wait on you hand and foot.
