01-7-2008 - June 24,2008 2nd Glucose Test

My mood while writing this blog: dissapointed

Well unfortunately I got a call back yesterday (Monday 23) from the nurse at the clinic saying that I pretty much failed my glucose test. I was sooo dissapointed and scared and just so emotional. My honey was with me when I got the news. I wanted to find comfort in him bt unfortunatally he made me feel worse. His exact responseto me was "That's it your only drinking water." I remember getting very defensive with him because I figured he should know better. I mean for one my sickness hasn't left me so he knows I dnt purposely pig out or eat unhealthy. Actually this is the healthiest I've ever eaten. Sugars..I'm nt even big on them I'll have icecream once in a great while cause sweets truly gross me out right now. He just made me feel soooo guilty. Then I really started to get down on myself thinking with everything I've been trough with the miscarriages and this I just felt like something's wrong with me. I felt like I'm always a part of that percentage of women that something goes wrong. Bt then I started thinking and I thanked God for at least having my beh beh and knowing that it can b treated :D N-e ways enough sobbing. I had to schedule another appointment for today. I had to cancel my loan training at work and had to burn 8 hrs of PTO bt n-e thing 4 my beh beh :D So I walk in there dreading the 3 + hours I'm going 2 b there. This morning I didn't wake up sick just anxious. For this one it was manditory to fast 12 hrs which was fine I mean I did it b4. I totally didn't expect what was coming next. I took a super huge drink thinking that it wasn't going 2 b bad...... Spoke 2 soon it started 2 come up right away!! It was super sweet like I feared the first 1 would. It took me 4 ever to drink it and I had 2 ask to lie down becasue I almost threw it up. After 15 min I started feeling better so we went back outside to sit and listen to our ipods :D They started drawing my blood and the first draw wasn't bad...bt when it came to the second one the had to poke the same vain they just poked Saturday because they couldn't find my vains...I was sooooo sore already but it had 2 b done. The third and fourth where done on the same vains...my luck!! So we finally got to go home. I was starved!! I did feel a little rush there!!
