Butterfinger ice cream is the best! I am not being a cow this pregnancy. It is not that I am some prime example of self control or anything. I eat whatever I want. I just haven't wanted anything! However, I sat down and actually finished a carton of the PB ice cream with butterfingers yesterday. Wow. That can't be good. But it was sooooo good!
OB apmt today and she said I am starting to catch up a bit on the weight gain. (now i know why) She was worrying that I was not gaining enough. BP is good. Fundus is off-the charts but to be expected. She checked my cervix and said "long and strong". So the bathtub will not fall out of the tub any time soon. I love that you get extra ultrasounds with twins. The two heartbeats would just sound more like a thunderous applause, so they do a quick u/s instead. She gave me a peek at them and one baby was sucking a thumb. Cute.
Unfortunately some A-hole attending an appointment with his nice wife decided to lay it on thick about how boys are better than girls and he hopes for my husband's sake that there is a boy in here, blah blah. Why can't people keep their stupid comments to themselves? His son is better than my daughter? He is better than his wife? BS. I just pray that God gives my babies life. Hopefully all chromosomes will be in the right place. I pray that God will give me the good grace to not care what kind of junk the babies are packing in their diapers. Anyways, he brought me to tears and I cried for the better part of 4 hours after that. Oh, extra estrogen. Now I know that the only thing that can make me feel better today is another tub of pb ice cream with butterfingers!
