06-8-2009 - 26w 3d update

Well the two appointments today were the ultrasound for fetal growth, and the ob apmt. The u/s went well. Babies are 2lb 5oz and 2lb 7oz (65th and 71st percentile) and completely happy. They were yawning and practicing breathing and so beautiful. Cervix is holding up really well and fluid levels are great so they said the pregnancy seems to be agreeing with my body as well.
The OB apmt was terrible as usual. 1 1/2 hour wait in the waiting room. Boooooooooooooooooooooo!!! I was in a blind rage by the time I was seen. Doc is always in a hurry when dealing with me and rushes me out so why do I wait so long? If she rushed everyone out like that how could we be that late? Anyways, I think I have gained about 25 lbs and that is completely normal for twins. I am measuring full term at fundal height, and I look it. My belly button area is sore and it turns out that is normal, but the fascia round my bb must have torn and thus the pain in the area.
I also found out that they are going to induce me if babies don't arrive on their own by 38 weeks. So babies will be born at the latest Oct 27th. Cool. Nice to have a date on calendar. Now I can start dreaming about them and getting their nursery ready!
