02-11-2009 - November, ALREADY!

So it's November and I was looking at the calendar earlier and almost lost my breath, lol. This week I've scheduled my maternity pictures for Thursday morning at 10:30. I'm not sure what to wear and I dont plan on buying anything for the pictures either. At least I dont want to buy anything expensive since I wont be pregnant much longer. My Aunt is paying for the pictures and the photographer is her daughter in laws first cousin. Needless to say I'll get some personal time taking the pictures and I cant wait. My husband will be in some of the shots also. I was thinking I dont want dressy formal pictures. I want something more intimate and personal (not naked) so that we can share them with friends and family. Maybe both of us wearing white button ups and jeans. Mine of course will be opened to show of the belly and since my husband wears a cap daily I told him he can wear his cap in the pictures. We'll have pictures taken outside since the weather is going to be beautiful all week. If anyone has an ideas for pictures, please let me know. I was thinking of changing into something else for MY pictures alone but I'm not sure what I should wear.....

My doctors appointment is Friday and I cant wait to see Sophia. I hold my breath while they are taking her measurments and then with the first one I let out a huge sigh of relief and say, "Oh Thank God She's Growing!" Back to my point at the start of this blog...... This week I have those two appointments, next week is my sons ortho appointment, the following week is my repeat fetal echocardiogram, and the following week is Thanksgiving and somewhere in between all that I'll have another prenatal appointment! Then..... the following week is December first and Sophie might be here!

I did find out about the whole situation with my husband and his kids coming down. It ended up being that the youngest would be the one to come down. He's my oldest sons age, 11. Anyhow so today I asked him if they ever booked the flight and bought the ticket and he said he's waiting on his ex. She's going to pay for the ticket but said she would only pay a certain dollar amount and asked my husband to look into the tickets. He was unable to find a ticket for the amount she wants to spend so he suggested to her that she send the oldest thats 16. She then says thats the youngest is going to be very upset and heart broken because he wanted to come really bad but DH told her that he's going to be spending most of his time at the hospital so it's probably better that the oldest come. She was supposed to talk to the kids and get back with him but of course she hasnt. I figured this was her idea to begin with and now it's confirmed. I'm guessing she hasnt called him back because she's probably mad that he suggested the oldest come since he'll be at the hospital and wont have much time to spend with them while they are here. I feel better now knowing that he plans to spend most of his time at the hospital with Sophia. After all, she's going to need her daddy just as much as she'll need me.
