04-11-2009 - On my way to the hospital

My mood while writing this blog: Scared

Well this morning I woke up and like always went to empty out my bladder. Usually I put a liner on before I start doing anything but I was a walking zombie this morning. Anyhow as I was standing in the kitchen cooking breakfast for my kids I felt wet all of a sudden and had to go to the rest room to change. I'm not sure if it's discharge, urine or if my amniotic fluid is leaking. I doubt it's urine since I just emptied my bladder and I cant imagine discharge would come on so sudden and so much. Besides it was more like liquid than anything else. It wasnt running down my leg but any wetness there is just gross!!! Who knows....... So I called my docs office and was told to get to the hospital to be monitored and checked. If' it's leaking or if I've ruptured I'll be kept so I was told to take my bag.

Please pray for Sophia! My fluid has been low anyhow and getting lower with each appointment. If in fact it was amniotic fluid I pray that it's simply a small leak and that they can do an amnio infusion, IV, and bedrest to let her stay in at least for a few more weeks. I know doctors are trained in this field but a mothers intuition is strong and I dont think Sophia is ready to be born right now.
