| 08-5-2008 - SCH & Fibroid - 11w | My mood while writing this blog:Tired |
I'm 11 weeks today going by my LMP. Although from the scan dates I'm 11w 5 (I think). Had another scan on Tuesday 06 May. My GP phoned me on Wednesday 07 May to advise outcome of scan.
The Subchrionic Hematoma (SCH) has increased in size and I now have a Fibroid on my right ovary (apparently I should have no concerns with this). I saw baby moving about, arms and legs everywhere (very active wee bean). Babys HBR or FHR was 176bpm. I am sceduled for another scan on 16 May to check on the SCH and for the Nucal Test.
After the next scan I will be going through a specialist at the hospital as I'm now a High Risk Pregnancy.
Done alot of reading on the net about SCH and there are some sad outcomes, and some positive ones (with risks). Alot of woman with SCH tend to go into premature labour - this causing problems for the baby. e.g underdeveloped organs, breathing problems etc. There doesn't seem to be alot of success stories with woman going full term.
Luckily I've had no bleeding lately (fingers crossed again) and I just have to keep praying!!
