22-6-2009 - This little one is crackin' me up

My mood while writing this blog: amused

Ok so last night around 10:30 I'm lying in bed watching the second Jackass movie on Comedy Central. Not the most stimulating or engaging television program I could've been watching, but I was in the mood for something light-hearted and stupid before falling asleep.

I noticed that after I laughed at parts, I would feel the baby moving. So at one point, I rolled over onto my back for a minute and after a bit, I felt and saw my belly move! Which made me laugh again because it tickled. And when my belly had stopped bouncing from my cracking up - the baby did it again. We had a little cycle going for a few minutes. The baby kicking...me laughing at it...and then some more kicking. I wish Paul was there to see it, but it figures he was working. But maybe I can make the baby do it again tonight. This is so much fun. I love this little person growing inside me so much already! And I am just so in awe of the awesome-ness that is pregnancy.

And the wait is finally almost over! Ultrasound tomorrow at 9:00 am. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the babe isn't going to be shy about showing us the goods. : ) Some women have a feeling about whether they're having a boy or girl, but I really haven't yet. So it'll be a nice little surprise tomorrow morning.
