Today I went to my doctor's appointment thinking and hoping that this month I could start the clomid and ttc again. Not the case.
Last month we tested my progesterone on cd21 and it was low so she wanted to check it again later in the month just to see if perhaps I hadn't ovulated yet, that test was low as well. So I waited for AF but she never fully came I just had some spotting so last month's cycle was not normal for me.
Well today after explaining to her that my cycle was off last month and that this month was fine she said I want you to wait, track with OPK's and then retest the progesterone. What is stupid is my first test of progesterone was done at the perfect time after a normal period so even if the second test was off the first one should not have been. Anyways she said that if after this cycle my progesterone is still low she would like me to start the clomid. She said that the clomid will help make all my hormones rise and that after I ovulate they will give me progesterone supplements to help support a pregnancy.
I am happy that finally something is getting done but I am bummed that I have to wait yet another month to ttc. I went in all excited thinking we would be talking about my plan of action for clomid and ttc for this month and I come out with wait, track and test which is what I have been doing for SO LONG!
Not much else I can do though so here I sit cd4 and waiting.... again.

Sorry you have to wait an extra month. It is so hard to wait so I pray that you are busy for the next month & time goes fast for you!

How extremely frustrating...I can in some ways relate to how you are feeling. The waiting game really sucks! I was hoping to be prego by summer...ummm, as you can see that didn't happen=( Anyway, BEST OF LUCK to you! Hang in there.

Shee, I am sorry you have to wait another month... But better safe than sorry! And hey, maybe when DH comes home we can be BFP buddies!!! I know pacience sucks, but you can do it!

oh Shee, I'm sorry. the waiting is the hardest part. because it seems like we're always waiting for something. I'm so sorry that it's pushed back even further for you now. I really hope you get great results at the end of this, so it will all be worthwhile! but for now, man, I'm sure it's poopy. ((big hugs))
