Write a new blog
The economy has finally hit my house, I was laid off from my job of 3 years. It was very emotional for me and my coworkers because none of us really saw it coming. I worked in the newspaper industry and we knew things were slow but never realize it was that bad. I filed for unemployment and will take sometime off from working and figure out what my next move is. This is the first time in years that I have not worked and with everything that has happen this last year I think a break might just be a good thing.
My main worry is medical insurance because with us ttc and all the complications I have had not being able to afford it would really hurt. I have this month left covered and am doing all I can in the chance we can't. We would have to pay close to $400 a month to do so and I am not sure how much I will get for unemployment just yet. On the up side my SO is still working and going to school and will soon be getting his GI Bill benefits so we might just be able to work it out. I am not letting this bump interfere with us ttc though.
On that front we have been at a stand still for the past two months. I had some more tests and we finally realized that I have low progesterone levels. I got my final one out of the way and my doctor suggested the clomid to help so I will take that this cycle. Then I go in again on cd23 to do another progesterone test and see if it helped my levels rise, if not I will start progesterone supplements. I am excited and scared. I am happy to have an answer but know this is not a promise of a perfect pregnancy. But I am very optimistic about trying this month.
All in all I am staying positive. I know I am not someone who takes change well but I am doing my best to adjust and find the positive in a crappy situation, I realize I am lucky and it could always be much worse. So the next few months I will be taking a break and taking care of myself both emotionally and physically. I have been so distracted this past year with all the losses I think this could be a good thing for us. Let the new chapter begin!

I am sorry to hear about your job but I am happy to hear that you are taking the positives out of it to concentrate on yourself. I hope that it all works out.
