28-10-2009 - 30 Week Appointment

Well, I had my 30 week appointment today and all went well. I've gained 18 pounds so far which I guess is not too bad. My Doc decided I don't need to start the 2 week appointments yet seeing as I've already had a full term/healthy pregnancy before so I won't be seeing him for 3 weeks now. I forgot to ask him when he will start with the internal exams. For the life of me I can't remember when those started......How quickly we forget I guess...LOL The best thing about the appointments for me is to hear the heart beat...it's always so calming...I love it:0) Oh, baby is head down already which is awesome!! Let's hope she stays that way:0)

I think most get checked around 36 weeks. I got checked internally at 34 because I was preterm labor risk

Wow I can't believe you are that far already! HOw exciting! I started getting checked at 36 wks, but my clinic changed the way they did things since I've been pregnant w/ Tanner. You're getting to the finish line too!
