| 11-1-2009 - Why the internet isn't always the answer... | My mood while writing this blog:ok |
So I'm now into my 6th week of pregnancy (yay!) and feeling pretty good. I guess the biggest problem has been that I've searched the internet for answers or others experiences and it leaves me with many "what ifs" floating around my head. Like what if I have a chemical pregnancy and don't know it or what if I lose the baby or even what if I lose the baby late in the pregnancy?
The internet is filled with sad stories of failed pregnancies. I feel great and we're trusting that our baby is safe and healthy but one can't help but to wonder you know?
We also want to tell people after my first prenatal appointment (8 weeks) but again, the fear of something happening makes us hold back. Well, less the fear as much as all the sad stories and "advise" telling us to wait or that we'll jinx ourselves if we tell people too early.
Ugh...people are irritating! Haha. If anyone reading this did or knows someone who told people they were pregnant between 8 and 10 weeks and everything was fine, please tell me about it! I need some happy stories haha.
