| 23-1-2009 - Oh what a day! | My mood while writing this blog:Happy |
So as you probably know by now, I had my first appointment on Monday. My doctor had told me I might have some spotting since I was being poked around at and whatnot. Well it tapered off and I didn't see any reason for concern but then for the past couple of days, I was having some very very light brown spotting off and on. No cramping and no need for a pad but enough for me to freak out! Haha.
So I called my nurse and she fit me in to see my doctor today. He was going to do another sono and bloodwork if necessary. We had been a little worried because on Monday, I had a sono and all we could see was the gestational sac and the yolk (or something like that?) but my hcg levels were over 8000. Since you can usually see a baby once the levels reach around 5000, he would do another sono and if he saw nothing he'd check my levels again, since it was only 4 days later since he may not see anything else.
Well, my husband came with me and there on the screen was a tiny little baby AND a heartbeat! It must have just started because the doctor said it was slow but normal since I'm not even 6 weeks yet. It was so tiny, I had to hold my breath to keep from moving to see it.
It was beautiful! What a wonderful day...
My son Jackson is 8 month old and a little daredevil (as seen above hehe). Anywa...
Maybe my eyes are off but in this photo of new mom Gisele Bundchen, is she carry...
What color would you say my son`s eyes are? (My MIL didn`t think they were blue)...
