21-1-2009 - 36 week check up - 22nd January 2009

My mood while writing this blog:
Hot and Tired

Well I had my 36week check up today - Everything seems great...my blood pressue was good 110/70, baby's heart beat was 151 bpm, baby is head down and it's back is on my back with it's face looking upwards (if that makes sence) I really dont want to have a back labour - because I heard it hurts - Any of you ladies had back labour previously?! , baby weighs about 5.2 pounds and they expect that I will deliver a 6.5 / 7 pound baby...My doc doesnt do "internal check's" until 39 / 40weeks - is that weird?! I feel like I am missing out....I wanna know my progress because I really, really dont think I will make it to my due date - I just have a BIG feeling that I will go a weeks or so before!!!

So yesturday was Trav and my 3 year wedding anniversary and I felt so depressed towards the end of the night- we got good news about a new job for him (which was great - by the way he starts on Monday and they are ok with him taking 2 weeks off when the baby is born) so yesturday on the way home someone hit our car from behind (Trav was driving and it was their fault - he guy tried to drive off and started getting really abusive saying it was our fault - HE HIT US FROM THE BACK...SO IT'S HIS FAULT - We have taken it though our insurance and my car wont get fixed until the 4th February - I wont be at work then....but that's the last thing we need), I didnt get an anniversary gift from Trav because he didnt have time - He knew it was our anniversary and I kept joking around with him last week saying "Are u goin shopping for my present"...plus what do you mean you didnt have time - You have been off from work since Monday - I just felt really, really hurt and un appriciated by it...Mind you I bought him car rims for our anniversary, anyways we didnt even have sex or anything because he was to scared of hitting the baby - I just feel so down plus I am really tired and my feet have started to swell at night and my wedding ring is becoming a bit tight!!! I would love this baby to come out NOW - LOL...I guess it's not to much longer!!!!!

awww!....sweetie be happy!......you are nearly there!....my dh is the same.....we have not made love for nearly 5 months....he is scared that it might start labour early........your Dh will probly get you somethng soon!.......mine always says buy what you want!......I always want a surprise!

here in the uk they do not give us
a internal exam until we are in labour!

aww - So sorry. Cheer up and remeind him that sex wont hurt the baby at all! there is so much fluid to protect the baby and sex will help soften your cervix to help labor start!!! Maybe that will get him goin. :-) Once my dr is back in town I hope to have as much sex as possible and get my body ready :-) ( we had sex the last week of my preg with my 2nd and I was completely effaced and dialated to a 5 - she wasn't hurt one bit. the only reason dr's say not to is due to it helping labor start and it may be early yet for some that is why restrictions are put on for sex - Not that it would harm baby. :-)

I completely understand how you feel. My husand and I are hardly ever together and then when we are, I don't get any attention b/c he feels weird about doing IT. Whatever! I feel like we are worlds apart right now, like I don't even want to see him or talk to him, which kind of works out b/c he is in Vegas right now. He comes home on Friday. I am sorry that your husband didn't get you a present-that is sad. Maybe you will get a late one. If he is smart, he will try to make up for that.
