My mood while writing this blog:

Hey Ladies....I am so late with these blogs so I decided to write them together.

I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Years with your loved ones....I know we did! :)

Jayden is doing great - he is a happy baby - but has his cranky moments as well, he is eating anything and everything, he can crawl like a pro and can pull him self up into a standing position and stand on his own for about 1minute or so and then falls on his bum but if I hold his hands he will walk - but wobbles around a bit LOL, he can say - mama - dada - mum- dad - nana - nan - hey - hi - mmmm (for yummy foods), he can clap his hands - espec when you sing "If your happy and you know it", when you say "woo hoo or herray" he puts his hands in the air and claps, he can click his fingers, he loves music and will rock back and forth, click and clap his hands, when you say "Is Jayden fed up?" he taps his hand on his head, he loves playing wih cars and loves toys that make noise.

We had a great Christmas and New Years and it was Jaydens first for both - he got so spoilt for Christmas - lots of toys, books, clothes, bikes, ride on's, dvds, shoes and anything else you can thinki of....I need to find room to put it all LOL and it doesnt help that his birthday is less than 2 months away....I cant believe this time last year I was heavily pregnant and wanted him out hahahah - awwww my baby is growing up way to fast!

So I am having a bit of problems with Jayden and his sleeping - with the holiday season his whole routine has gotten out of wack....he doesnt go to sleep until like 10pm and then gets up at 12.30am and refuses to go back to his bed and even when he is with us he tosses back and forth - I know I have been slack and need to get him in his own bed and sleeping through the night - he has just gotten used to having us there....I tired the CIO method and I just cant do it - it's heart breaking....so any other ideas would be great! (He used to sleep from 8pm until about 5am and then come on our bed - which I didnt mind) but this really needs to stop - so please HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!

Anyways my baby is 11months in a few days so I will update later in the month!

aww sounds like everything is great..well besides the sleep! Sorry about that! I am not sure what to do..Evan sleeps 11 hrs straight without waking up :-(. Is he getting enough food before he goes to bed you think? I was just gonna post a blog about Evan since it has been FOREVER! haha. My lil guy is walking non stop its crazy! Ill post a blog soon. So happy to hear all is well!!!!

Hello... we have had huge issues with sleep too. We were up almost every hour and taking ages to settle. Out of absolute desperation we just started the controlled crying and have seen instant results. We put Harrison to bed without rocking or patting, and let him cry for 5 minutes before checking on him. Then we put him back down (because he is usually standing up in his cot and crying) and leave the room again and check on him in 10 minutes,if he is still crying we return in 15 minutes and then another 15 minutes. The first night he cried for 30 mins when we put him down and then he woke 2x during the night and cried for an hour each time. The second night he slept from 8pm till 5pm without waking...that was a huge achievement. Things are slowly getting better but consistency is the key. It is not easy and we have to keep telling ourselves that we are doing it for him. It is not for everyone though... not as drastic as just CIO method but still not easy as a parent to listen to them cry. Hope you have some time to catch up on sleep during the day. X
