06-11-2009 - Pregnant!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Sometimes it's a bit hard to believe. We got our first faint line on Tues Nov 3rd, and our BFP yesterday Thurs Nov 5th. I'm going to try to call and make a Dr.'s Appt today. I keep thinking back to my Appt with her only a few weeks ago. She was giving me my test results and while we were talking about my ultrasound, she told me I had several eggs ripening. I keep wondering whether I might be having twins. I'm not sure how long they take to ripen, and I'm also not sure whether they were at different stages of ripeness. But it's definitely something that has been on my mind. I'm hoping that she can either go back and look at the US results again, or maybe send me for an early one to see if I might be carrying twins.

Hubby has been joking about it ever since we got our BFP. Every time he comes home from work or comes over and gives me a hug, he keeps asking "How are my boys?" lol He has told me very decidedly that I am carrying twin boys. Lord help me if he's right! Not because I wouldn't want twins, but because when hubby's right, he never lets me forget it! lol

Anyway, I am doing good - no real symptoms, except tiredness. Last night I went to bed shortly after the kids went down, so around 8 pm. I remember this from my other 2 pregnancies. Some nights I went to bed around 6 pm, I was that tired. I'm trying to enjoy things now, because if this goes like my other two pregnancies went, I'll be getting morning sickness in about 2 weeks, which will last the rest of the first trimester.
