23-9-2008 - To pee . . . or not to pee

My mood while writing this blog:

So I've been charting my temps the past two months. Nevermind that they tell me I'm infertile, nevermind that my husband is leaving for a war-torn country in the middle east in a few weeks, nevermind it all...because I WILLED myself to ovulate. Ha. It looks like around day 22 I did in fact O. Except that I wasn't really paying attention to any other signs, so I'm not really sure. Our next infertility appt is this Thursday. They will tell us how my hubby's swimmers are, and let us know what the real problem is. PCOS? Anovulation? Or just plain screwed up? ha ha. Today is CD 40-ish and my temperature was still sky high this morning. This weekend we escaped to a cabin on the beach for some one-on-one time. It was absolutely amazing, and it's kind of the last time we'll get to be alone together before he deploys. We went to the store a few times and I picked up a pregnancy test twice, but put it back both times. Finally I got one yesterday, well I bought the two- pack of course. And now I'm sick to my stomach just thinking about peeing on the dang thing. I mean, how crazy must I be? So many times my period has been late, and I end up being terribly unpregnant. I have had pretty sore boobs and felt a bit sick this weekend....a glimmer of hope. But, I'm trying to keep that glimmer in check. It will take a miracle, but I am not giving up hope yet.

Wish me luck! Maybe I'll even break down and take one tonight.

I'm glad you had a good time with your hubbie. As far as the peeing goes I really can't say, because I have that same dilemma.

Go for it but do the hpt in the morning with your first pee that ways its more concentrated. Good luck and i hope you get that bfp.

The question is can you handle a bfn right now? Have you done any opk's? Just keep bding until he goes, if your cycles are all messed you may still 'o" anyways if you didn't already....What are they going to do at the infertility clinic? Could they test to see if you did indeed 'o'....? Are they going to do an internal u/s. That's a hard call, almost might want to wait until then hey? Wouldn't it be a sweet thing if they said that they can't help you becasue you're already preggers, haha. Do they know that you only have two more weeks???? Can't they put a hurry on it?!

I really hope you get your BFP!! It would give me hope that my DH and I still have a shot of making it happen... good luck honey.
