08-7-2009 - I am Pregnant...again!!! woohooo!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Excited & Scared

Yes....We are pregnant again..I am due Feb 28, 2010...Our conception story is really interesting as well..

Warning!!!...Long story!!

My daughter is 14 months and I am still nursing her..After her birth, I did not get a period until Jan 2009. Even then, it did not seem like a regular one since I bled for only 1 day and very very less...After that, I got another very very light period on March..We decided to start TTC from Feb but it was very difficult to track my ovulation with such a random cycle.We want a boy this time and all that I read said we need to do the deed as close to ovulation as possible for having a boy.So we were not seriously trying and not preventing it either leaving it to God's hands..Then on May 24th, I had my first regular 3 day period..So I thought may be I am back on track with my cycles and decided to try based on 28 day cycle..I dated my ovulation to be around June 7th which luckily turned out to be Sunday..So I told hubby that we need to get busy on Sat and sunday to make sure we catch the O window..

then came saturday June 6th..I had all the symptoms of Ovulation..We were really excited but we had a party in the afternoon at a friend's place..so decided to do the deed in the evening..We came back around 6.30 from the party and I fed my daughter and put her to bed by 7:30. Just when we thought we are set to start BD, hubby got a call from work..they had some outage in an application and they needed hubby to join a meeting..Hubby said he should be done in an hr max and logged into office laptop from home..I was just watching TVwaiting for him to come..He came in around 9 and told me that the outage seems really serious and it's taking more time than expected and asked me to sleep if I want to and he will come wake me up.. By this time, all my excitement is gone and I was just frustrated...he was too but he cud not help it as it is work related and at this time of recession, it's imp that we keep the job..I remember being up until 2 AM and no sign of hubby..I went to check on him and he was seriously working..so I came back to bed and the next thing I know, I woke up to my daughter crying..It was 7 AM..I got up to go pick her and hubby came in..his work has just got over and he was all tired..He went straight to bed and I started the routines with my daughter..He woke up at 2 PM and had lunch..By this time, I was sure we missed the O..and to any last min chance we had, our DD did not take her usual afternoon nap and we had to play with her..It was 7.30PM on sunday June 7th we had some private time to ourselves...I put my feet up and a pillow underneath after the deed for just in case...and that's it...

A week after..I was in emergency room with severe stomach pain and diarrhea..I was continuously having some issues with sensitive stomach and it is so not me..That's when I decided to test on Father's day to see if I am may be pregnant..Indeed the test came back positive..I could not believe it..For all I thought, we missed the O that night, we so did not..My hubby got his greatest present on Father's day..the stick I peed..LOL..

I was just waiting for my first prenatal visit with the Dr to announce my pregnancy and I had it yesterday..My first ultrasound is on July 21st..I hope everything goes ok with the scan and we hear a heartbeat..

For now, we are ecstatic that we are blessed again with a miracle..
