Tommy E. Lamb, 76, of Charleston passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2009, in CAMC Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
Tommy retired from Libbey-Owens-Ford Glass Plant in 1985, after 30 years of service. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim Lamb, Lee Lamb, and Jackie Lamb.
Mr. Lamb is survived by his wife, Loretta S. Lamb; sons, Tommy Lamb, Jamie Lamb, Garry Shivley, and Randy Shivley; daughters, Debbie Martin, Carol Otey, Cynthia Nicholas, and Regina Wilson; brother, Bud Lamb; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 16, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
