Yes very stupid that he did not do a blood test and then gives you unsafe medseven though you may be pregnant....your daughter is beautiful but your doctor is a moron and I hope you can find someone else.

Shannon if it makes you feel better....with my septic infection, I was on one of the strongest antibiotics out there, and after the IV meds were done, they put me on the strongest oral antibiotic out there...I googled it and it can be used for bladder infections, so whatever your on will more than likely be ok if you do have a bub in there.

What? Did this doctor walk out of a cave to treat you? My goodness - there are classifications for medication that are safe during pregnancy, is he aware of this fact? Sheesh. Hope the UTI goes and a BFP shows!

what a jerk and when i was pregnant i had a uti and there prescribe medication that would be safe to take while pregnant,well good luck.

i went to a walkin clinic... they took a urine sample..
2 things...
1. i have a bladder infection, which could explain the pink mucous
2. they took a pregnancy test, and it came up negative, the doctor agrees it could be too early..
however, the medicine that was prescribed is not totally safe if i am pregnnat, he said "nothing is safe during pregniancy.. hes a bone head! hes also the same doctor that told me he thought my daughter looked like a mongoloid.. (down syndrome) which she obviously doesnt! the pharmacist told me to stop medicine if i test and get a positive.. grr...
so thats all
