12-11-2009 - waiting game

My mood while writing this blog: tired

Here we are at 38 weeks and still no baby! I was supposed to have her on the 5th but my little ones lungs werent ready. We did another amnio a week later and still not enough. They admitted me to the hospital Sunday and I have been on bed rest since. The last amnio shows that she is just about ready,that was on Tuesday. I have had 2 steroid shots since then to help her out and the doctor thinks it is about time to make plans on my c section. She was wanting to get the full amnio culture back which should be tomorrow. Since I have been here I have been in so much pain phsyically and emotionally. I miss my girls at home and my husband. Every morning I wake up to the sound of a new baby in the hall and it breaks my heart because I want my baby! My body is starting to swell up. I have bad headaches and really bad back pains. I am trying so hard to manage but it gets harder every day. The doctors and nurses are wonderful here. My husband is doing his best to take care of the house and the kids,my mom has been wonderful. My sister and dad come up here and walk around the hospital with me once a day. I just can't wait. I hope my next blog is about my babys arrival,I can't wait! Hope you are all doing well!
