08-12-2008 - Getting Ready for Christmas

My mood while writing this blog: Happy!!!

Christmas is almost here and I am so excited to share this special time with you Carter. We have your stocking ordered and it should arrive any day. We have purchased a few presents for you, but since you will probably have more fun following Sissy and Brother, we didn't go overboard.

You have truly found your voice and let us know with huge squeels of delight...constantly. :) Bedtime is getting a little easier; you didn't even cry tonight when I put you down. I am crossing my fingers that you will sleep at least five hours straight tonight as you have been doing this last week. I don't mind waking up with you a couple times a night, but you were getting in the habit of waking about three or more times per night. I know I owe you the cuddle time, especially since I am working so much and I feel like sometimes we are just strangers in the night.

Daddy is done with basketball in one more week. Yippee! Bring on family time for the next three months.
