09-12-2008 - Last Christmas

My mood while writing this blog: Sentimental

Dear Baby,

Today is December 17^th and I am 13 ½ weeks along now. So far this pregnancy has not been too bad. J I had a bit of morning sickness for about five weeks, but I never threw up, which is a good thing. I am starting to show a little bit, but I think most people would just think I had put on about 10 lbs. Christmas is coming up and we are all very excited, especially Grace. I think Jake is still a little too young to grasp the concept of Christmas, but I think he will catch on pretty fast once he starts opening up his gifts.

So far, we haven’t done a lot to prepare for you. Since we still don’t know if you are a boy or a girl, we haven’t done much shopping. I have only purchased a few pacifiers and a shopping cart toy. If you are a girl, Grace desperately wants to share a room with you. I think it will probably work out ok, but if she changes her mind, we will move the toys from the toy room and make that your nice, big bedroom. If you are a boy, you may share a room with Jake. I think it might be an adjustment for him, but by the time you are born and ready to move into his room, he will be almost 3 and may be more accommodating.

We are so very excited for you to come. I think about you non-stop.
