Dear Baby,

Wow! Just moments ago, I felt you move for the very first time. I felt you three separate times. I am so amazed. I have been anticipating the feeling for the last month or so, but you can never imagine how awakening it feels. It is so slight, so tiny, that if I wasn’t paying attention, I would have missed it completely. It gave me goose bumps the instant I felt them.

I can’t tell you how excited I am for you. I am hoping we get to know if you are a boy or a girl in the next month. I can’t wait to start getting things ready. Even though you are our third baby, there are still items that we need. Some of them are a little more luxurious than what we had with Grace and Jake. For example, I would love a baby monitor that would allow me to watch and hear you, instead of just hearing you. We would love to get a double stroller too. I’ve been doing lots of research and I am trying to find you the safest products to use too…like bottles that do not contain PVC and perhaps a type of diaper that is flushable.

Anyway, there is still so much to do to get ready for you…I can’t wait.
