04-10-2009 - First Doc's Appt.

My mood while writing this blog: meh

Hi all,

I went to see the GP as I will be doing shared care... We have booked our blood tests and scans, 1st trimester screen on the 9th of Nov. (would have been the week earlier but its Melbourne Cup week and with Steve being a bookie, its our busiest time of year!!) Blood tests on the 19th of Oct and we are waiting for a request for our 'big' ultrasound at 18-20 weeks. I want to find out this time what the baby's sex is.

I also had to get the 'swine flu' vaccine... ouch! she tried to give me a pap smear but I was like 'um i think it can wait till after he/she is born'!

I can't wait to meet our little one. We also decided that this is our last child, no matter what happens. I want to have my body back to myself! I have told my netball coach this week and will stop playing and training. though I want to keep fit, will probably just walk every morning to try not put on too much weight.
