Went in for our 13 weeks NT scan and saw a little bubba on the screen much larger than it should be. hmmmmmmmm
Sonographer asked repeatedly whats due date? are u sure about last period? I say 'well I was breastfeeding?'
Turns out our baby is 20weeks and 4 days today! not 13 weeks!
So the baby is low risk down's syndrome from what she could tell, had all the right bits in all the right places.
In hindsight I was feeling rather large for 13 weeks, but you know how people say second pregnancies u show earlier? I had been feeling kicks for a few weeks but just assumed it may have been gas or something.
So after much crying we learned our bubba is healthy and of course I had to ask the sex!
And she showed us his little boy bits!
After a lot more crying (from me) we are home and coming to terms with everything that has happened today.

Mistress mom in in my friends network and she has 4 boys which is why she said she is hoping for a girl. It's great that you get to skip all those weeks! What a day! I know how your feeling right now...bittersweet.You brought tears to my eyes this morning. So glad baby is healthy and he will have a blast with all those bros! Maybe the plan is to have 5?!?!? xx

Wow, that would be a big adjustment finding out that you are 7 weeks farther along than you thought. I bet a lot of people are actually quite envious of skipping almost 2 months ahead... Your family is beautiful and the newest team blue member will be gorgeous also. Best of luck to you. xxx ooo
