06-8-2008 - The Monitor HopefullMy mood while writing this blog:
Hopefull

Well After 4 years of trying, I finally broke down and purchased a Fertility Monitor. Its the Clear Blue Brand. So is it true that I can not start testing until the new month has started? I have read the maual and once you click the "M" button it re-sets it to what is supposed to be day 1 of your cycle. Does anyone have this brand and any helpful hits for this monitor? I really hope this works, I have read a ton of sucess stories and it seems to work for lots. In fact the lady I bought it from is 3 months along and got pregnant the first month she bought it...after months of trying! I'm hoping I get her luck.

Thanks all and lots of Baby Dust to those trying:) and best wishes too...to those that acheveived!

I have the same monitor!! So yes and no about having to wait until your next cycle. When you set the m' button you can set it as far along as day 5. So if you're not far into your cycle you can start using it right away! To make it a 5 instead of 1 you just need to hold down the m button until it slowly creeps up to 5. The reason you shouldn't start it after is that the first time you go to use it you'll start using the test strips on CD6... and then everyday until you get your peak... or AF in my case. I'm using the monitor for the 2nd month and I've learnt that I'm not ovulating at all; that would explain no BFP yet. Good luck! And if you have any questions just ask!!
