| 04-1-2009 - Saturday Morning ER visit | My mood while writing this blog:Tired and Happy too! |
Hey Ladies, I hope all is well. Well Friday night into Saturday moring I was having cramping in the front and in the lower to mid-back....it was not getting any better so on my way to work I decided to go to the ER to get checked and to ease my mind a little. When I got there luckily no one was wating so I got right back. First they had a whole lot of blood drawn, then they did a pelvic exam and then did a bed side ultrasound. They attempted to see the baby via the top pf my belly but couldnt see much as they just had me empty my bladder for a urine sample. So then they went the other route (vaginally) ....and ahhhhh there was my baby! This time I could see the lil heartbeat plane as day. They said it was beating 176 beats per minute which they said was great. It amazed me how much bigger the baby looked from when I seen it at 5 weeks along! You can actually destinguish the head and arms now...wow! So then the doctor looked at my ovaries in the ultrasoound and noticed a large cyst in my left ovary, which can be blamed for my pain. so then he decided to order a REAL ultrasound with the radiology department to get a closer look. So after waiting in bed for 2 hours radiology came and got me and they did the real ultrasound...and I got to see the baby yet again:) I asked for a copy of the pic and the girl said "I dont know how to do that from here, they only do that in the OB department"! Seriously after 3 ultrasounds would SOMEBODY please give me a picture of my baby already! So then I went back to the bed...and waited some more for the radiology dept to get the result back to the ER department....finally they came back and said that I have cysts in both ovaries and thats where the pain is coming from...in addition to a UTI. Blah! So they put me on more antibiotics and explained that I need to follow up with my OB in 2 days and they need to monitor the cysts, ect. So I am glad I went...but I was there for 6 hours and got to work really late. BUT GLAD I WENT. SO that was my ER visit in a nut shell. Oh and my HCG level from yesterday was a whopping: 127,196 and im still throwin up daily, but when I see the little guy or gal...it makes it all worth it!!!!
Had anyone ever deveopled cysts in the ovaries in early pregnancy? Do they go away fairly fast once the hormones drop a little? They said they would have been way more concerned if I was still taking Clomid...but I havent taken it in over 2 years....
