24-1-2009 - Week 13 Update

My mood while writing this blog: Tired and Need a day off work

Hello Ladies,

I'm sorry I havent wrote for a while, its been so busy at work and I took an 8 night trip to Florida for a much needed vacation! Florida was amazing as always, it got quite cold on us but still much warmer and far away from Salt lake City so it was nice! We went to Disney World and managed to go to all 4 of their parks, animal kingdom, hollywood studios, magic kingdom and to Epcot (my favorite)...it was so much fun but there was so much walking involved! I was beat! We also went to 2 different beaches (Tampa and to the other side of the state Cocoa beach) and although we were freezing it was so good to see the beach again! When we got home I had to immediately return back to work for 8 (10 hour shifts streight) so here I am on my 6th day...2 more to go then I get 7 days off (yay)!

Well now for some baby talk:) I had my 4 week check up with the OB last Tuesday and everything went great we were in and out in 30 minutes. They checked the Urine which must have looked okay and he tried to hear the heartbeat but couldnt quite pic it up yet so he took a quick look on the hand held ultrasound machine...and there was baby...and its lil heart just beating away nicely. It was a relief to see it again and to know it survived my exaugsting trip to Florida. The nausia has pretty much subsided for the most part in this last week...I havent thrown up since last Saturday so that is so nice! The smells arent bugging me like they used to as bad...just one complaint...I have this horrible daily pain on the right side right were my ribs end. The doctor said to montior it as it could be galbladder but its not always after I eat. It almost like it gets worse as the day goes on and into the evening. It gets better when I lay down also. Does anybody else have this? Other than that the belly is deffintly growing and pants are getting harder and harder to get on. So things seem to be progressing well, I am so happy and blessed to have made it this far.
