09-6-2009 - Shower and updates

My mood while writing this blog: Blessed

Hi Girls, I hope everything is going great! Well I had my shower on Saturday that my mom and sister in law threw for me and it was a great turn out! We did it open house style from 11-2 pm and had a mexican menu. We had a Taco bar with Rice and beans and Margaritas for all the no preggy ladies (pretty much just me) and cupcakes (pink and Brown to match the decor) and my mom even made me Gluten Free Brownies since I cant have any wheat! I bet between the hours of 11-2 we had over 30-40 people come! OMG I got so many gifts too, I was opening gifts for about an hour and a half:) We are so blessed to have so many great friends and family members and our daughter will be well taken care of! Some of the gifts we got were LOTS of clothes (OMG I will need to change her 3 times a day to have her wear everything she got till 9 months old), we got the cute clothes hamper I registered for that matches her nusury, we got two of the Graco swings exactly the same, 1 graco pack and play, a cow piggy bank to match her farm girl nusury theme, a play mat, the jungle think that hangs on the side of the crib and plays music and lights up, toys, $400 cash and SO much more. Me and my hubby went through everything on sunday and determined what we still needed and what could be returned (like the extra swing) and made our treck to target and babies r us, and went on a shopping spree.....we got the monitor on a great deal at target (normally $69 and we got it for $39), we bought two more boxes of 138 count diapers that were on clearance!, crib wedge, bottle warmer, bottle cleaner, wipe warmer, mirrors for our cars, and a few other things. I think we are just about set! Now its time to start washing clothes and getting everything put away. I will take some pictures of the room and post them soon, its looking so cute. I will also post some pics soon of the shower too:)

I have my 33 week doctors appointment today and things to talk to him about are filling out my maternity leave paperwork, heartburn which is unbearable at this point (he mentioned last visit he would give me a perscription, and lack of movement. I have been so conserned about lack of movement for a while now and it has got me really worried. I feel her daily but only small tiny movements...nothing like what I hear most pregnant ladies talking about. None of her movement have ever hurt or been big movements and I cant help but feel worried about this. I hope he can give me SOME reasurrance at todays appointments!

Before I go, I just want to say congrats to Blee for getting another BFP (im so happy for you) and conrats to Jamie, Steph and Haileys Mommy on giving birth to their little ones in the last week! I remember when each of you got your BFP's and I cant believe your time has come and your little ones are here! Yay!!!!!
