06-11-2008 - Can't wait!

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

So I cannot wait until Christmas! I am so excited. Christmas is my favorite. We have been cleaning out to make room for little one and I came across my boxes of christmas stuff and now all the stores have all their christmas stuff out! I just want to go crazy. I looked at a sales paper for Pier One yesterday and while they're are a little expensive, they have some of the most beautiful christmas things ever! I cannot wait to get my tree and put it up. I just wish my little one was here to see it. DH doesn't get my excitement. He was brought up 7th Day Adventist and they don't (or at least his mom and family didn't) go the whole nine yards like mine. My mom used to decorate like crazy. She has a Christmas train we would always put around the tree, a huge snow covered village, a christmas carousel that lights up and moves and plays music. Since she no longer uses these I may have to steal them from her this year. My dad and I used to put Christmas lights up around the house as well. And we always have a real tree. Nothing smells or looks better than a real Christmas tree. Last year I coordinated my tree and gift wrap - all blue, white and silver with a hint of light purple. I get so excited thinking next year we will have a little one to buy for. I remember how amazing Christmas was when I was little - the break from school and all the baking my mom and I did and of course the presents and decorations. I just can't wait!!!! If it just didn't cost a small fortune to buy everyone gifts they probably will never use, it would be the perfect Holiday. Lol.
