08-12-2008 - Getting there

My mood while writing this blog:
Ok

So, I couldn't wait. Today while looking over my registry I noticed some things can only be bought online and some others were not available at any of the stores around where I live. So, I went ahead and ordered some thing I consider essentials, along with a few fun things. I got a diaper depot organizer, a diaper pail, a bottle drying rack, a feeding center to hold baby foods and bottles, a bath tub, a bathtub thermometer (really cute - shaped like a yellow duck), then I also got some bath towel things that are supposed to keep the baby warm while you're bathing them and a really neat pacifier that's also a thermometer. Yesterday I went to the store and had to venture thru the baby aisles and picked up some little bbay hats, a bottle brush, some pacifiers - two that glow in the dark - and what is now the baby's coming home outfit. DH loves the Titans so it's a pink and white Titans outfit with a matching hat and blanket. My mom will be disappointed since the first thing she purchased was a not so cute layette set that she declared was the coming home outfit, but I hated. Plus, it's my first baby and I want to decide what outfit she comes home in. I will be sure to put her in the other outfit and take pics for my mom to make her happy. I am so exicted to have most everything I will need for her ready and at home, just waiting for her to get here. I am anxious to have the nursery completed so I can post some pics and enjoy everything being done.

Sounds like youve got heaps of stuff for your baby girl! Ive hardly brought anything, i guess ive got almost everything from my 17 mth old. Ive got a few new things but bub will be wearing hand me downs most of the time.The 000 stuff looks like new any how because Kai was so big at birth and was in 00 in such a short time. Im really hopeing this bub will be smaller! And im REALY hoping that the ultra sound tech was wrong and that we are having a baby girl.... they got it wrong with my first born, told me i was having a girl and it was a boy! Id really love another girl!
